About Kevin Hensley
Born in North Carolina and raised in Bethesda, Maryland, Kevin Hensley has built a career deeply rooted in public service. After interning with Senator Bill Roth and working as a Legislative Assistant in Washington, D.C., Kevin moved to Delaware, where he started a successful career in real estate. In 2010, he was named Realtor of the Year for Delaware. He is also an active community member, having co-founded the MOT Charter School and served on the Appoquinimink School Board.
As a member of the Delaware Joint Finance Committee, Kevin focuses on balancing state budgets, supporting small businesses, and promoting local economic growth. He is passionate about education, having secured funding for school safety improvements, and continues to advocate for adjustments in school funding formulas to reflect district needs.
